Wednesday 30 November 2016

December is the twelve and final  concluding month of 2016, it is also the month  that  globally many still celebrate the Birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The number 12 signifies perfection of government or rule. According to Bible scholars, 12 is the product of 3, which signifies the divine, and 4, which signifies the earthly. The number 12 has further significance, as it represents authority, appointment and completeness. The number 666 is used to represent the devil and hell, whereas 12, 12, 12 is believed to signify God and heaven. The number 12 is also associated with the government of the cosmos

The number 12 appears 187 times in the Bible. There are several instances regarding the number 12.  Jesus was 12 years old when he questioned the scholars in the temple. There are 12 legions of angels, and the tree of life in the new creation will produce 12 types of fruit. The number 144,000 servants of God is the sum of 12 x 12,000 (12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel). Many more associations with the number 12 are found in the Bible.

Get ready to open the door to new opportunities and victories for 2017 and close the door on everything that you do not want or desire.

DECEMBER/CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

DECEMBER 2016

December is the month in which we celebrate the birth of The Lord Jesus Christ.  God loved us so much that he gave us His one and only son, Jesus Christ.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

When God gives of Himself He does not hold anything back.  All of God is given to us in Jesus Christ and vice versa.  God makes Himself accessible to us all through His son Jesus.  Access to God is gained and established through and by forming a relationship with Jesus Christ

The entire Word of God is based on two things: Relationships and Godly principles.   Jesus came to Earth for you, to re-establish Adam and Eve’s broken relationship with Him.  What is most important about Jesus’ mission to Earth is that it directly affects your life now and forever.  Christmas time is a reminder that Jesus has come to restore your relationship to God the Father.

Just like the baby Jesus  and His transition from child to adult, your relationship with God will grow and mature if you allow it to.   If you choose to believe in and receive Jesus Christ into your life, then your life will begin to change and change for the better.  It is impossible to have a relationship with God without having the improvements that such a relationship brings with it.  If you would like to have a personal relationship with God in your own life  or  are unsure about whether or not you have given your life to God or are just plain tired with the way things are with you presently then ask The Lord into your life now.

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life, today I turn towards you. Please forgive me, and help me to avoid sinning wilfully.  I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayers. I invite Jesus Christ to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me to obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life in Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

If you decided to repent of your sins and receive Christ today, welcome to God's family. Now, as a way to establish a good relationship with God and grow closer to Him, The Bible tells us to follow up on our commitment.

  • Get baptized as commanded by Christ (Acts 2:38).
  • Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.
  • Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word.
  • Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
  • Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus.
  • Develop a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you.
  • Find a local church where you can be  taught God’s Word and worship God.

NOVEMBER PRAYER POINTS

PRAYER BLOG – PRAYER FOR NOVEMBER  2016

NOVEMBER is the eleventh month of the year.   The number eleven is important in that it can symbolize disorder, chaos and judgment.

In The Bible, 11 is used twenty-four times and "11th" can be found 19 times. Coming after 10 (which represents law and responsibility), the number eleven represents the opposite - the irresponsibility of breaking the Law, which brings disorder and judgement.
Did you know that In Genesis 11, men rebelled against God and built the tower of Babel, the place where mass confusion and ineffective communication were seen on a scale as never before on the then known civilisation.  God judged them by confusing their language, which resulted in chaos - even today we are still struggling to understand each other!
The Apostle John saw 11 things in connection with the final judgment (Revelation 20:12 - 14).

I am listing 11 promises that the Gospel of John records for your life.  Pray and personalise these  words/scriptures into your life 11 times each day.  Use The Word of God to break any patterns of disorder, rebellion or broken down situations/circumstances  that may be present in your own life currently or that of your family or even your loved ones or friends.

  • A person can receive everlasting life by believing in the Son of God (John 3:16)
  • A person can have eternal life by eating, spiritually, Jesus' body (John 6:54)
  • By following Jesus you will not walk in darkness (John 8:12)
  • Those who continue in Jesus' word will be set free (John 8:31 - 32)
  • A person will truly be FREE if made so by Jesus (John 8:36)
  • God the Father will honour those who serve Christ (John 12:26)
  • Those who believe in Jesus will do greater deeds than He did (John 14:12)
  • Those who obey Christ's commands will receive the Holy Spirit (John 14:15 - 16)
  • Those who keep Jesus' commands will be loved by both Him and God The Father (John 14:21)
  • Those who abide in Jesus will be fruitful (John 15:5)
  • A person can be Christ's friend IF they obey Him (John 15:14)
